Karen received her undergraduate degree in molecular biology from Vanderbilt University in December 1991 and her Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law in May 1995. She was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 1995 and the Tennessee Bar in 1997.
Following law school, Karen served as an attorney in the Legal Assistance Division of the Office of the Staff Judge Advocate in Wuerzburg, Germany where she managed the Soldier’s Tax Assistance Program and provided general legal services to soldiers and their families. Upon returning to the U.S. in 1998, Karen concentrated her practice in the area of real estate.
Karen believes that every client who walks through the door deserves the same level of attention, service and commitment. Her goal is to make each client feel like a priority by taking care of the details so clients can focus on the big picture.
Karen also has a passion for learning and teaching. She has taken that passion to the community by volunteering in local elementary classrooms and teaching free realtor and lender seminars. With every opportunity to teach comes an opportunity to learn.
